Studying Japanese and Chinese at the University of Turku
The teaching of the Chinese and Japanese languages has now been consolidated throughout the university so that students can progress from the beginner's level at the Language Centre to advanced level at the Centre for East Asian Studies, complementing these by business language classes at the Turku School of Economics.
Classes are organized by the Language Centre (LC), Turku School of Economics (TSE), and the Centre for East Asian Studies (CEAS). All classes form a continuum and are open for all UTU students but require registration.
CEAS Japanese language classes also have a placement test before classes start each Autumn Term.
