Centre for East Asian Studies

As the first and only academic centre in Finland devoted to the study of contemporary East Asia, the Centre for East Asian Studies (CEAS) at the University of Turku conducts original research on the region and offers a multidisciplinary teaching package. CEAS aims to contribute to the local, national, and world community by encouraging greater cross-cultural and international understanding. The Centre's Master's and Doctoral Degree programmes in Asian Studies are open to students from Finland and other parts of the world.
